  • Banking and Checking Accounts Classes

  • Fire Tower Hill is now open!
    The tow rope’s operating hours will be established as demand warrants. MWR will not be responsible for any unsupervised children on the hill. Parent/adult supervision is strongly recommended for all youth under age 16. For more information please call 873-4137 or 873-5662.

  • Supervisory Sponsorship Training:
    Monday Nov. 17, 0900-1000 in the Gabriel Auditorium. This is critical for all managers when appointing sponsors to bring new personnel to their unit/organization. Not just anyone can be a sponsor, the right person has to be chosen to represent the unit/organization. How a new person is "welcomed' into the community will have an effect on how they feel about their new duty station. This can effect morale and job production. Call 873-4346 to sign up.

  • Basic Sponsorship Training:
    Monday Nov. 17, 1030-1130 in the Gabriel Auditorium. The guide for appointed sponsors on how to welcome the new employee and their family. Learn the steps to successful sponsorship and how to avoid pitfalls while bringing that new person aboard. A necessary training designed to enhance a motivated organization.   • Snow Machine Day Trips
    Guided day trips for small groups (3-7 people) are coming available. Trips to Volkmar lake, Wamcats trail, Goodpaster River, Bluff Cabin Lake, Donna Lakes, Maclaren Lodge, Paxon Lake, Rainbow Lake and Summit Lake. Please call outdoor Recreation at 873-4058 to register for training or to set your dates for a day trip. Machines are available for individual rental after completing the training. Although the snow might not be deep enough or the ice thick enough in certain areas yet, your guides will be able to give you approximate time frames to plan your trips. Plan early! Trips to Maclaren are being planned for the next few weeks.

  • Anchorage Shopping Friday December 5th - 7th.
    If you would like to participate in this trip please call 873-5662 to sign-up. The cost of the trip is $25 per person (5 adults minimum) plus the cost of your lodging and food. Lodging: Hilton Downtown 907-272-7411 call to make reservations. Will be departing at 0900 on the 5th from the Gabriel Auditorium and returning on the 7th.
