The purpose of the Recreational Vehicle (RV) Storage Lot is to provide
personnel that live on the post only with a place to store any on or off
road vehicle. This includes;

Trailers
-
Boats
-
Snow Machines
-
ATVs
-
Motor Homes
-
Camping Trailers
The RV storage lot is only to be used to store fully operational
equipment. All RVs and equipment must comply with State and Federal
inspection and license requirements. All RVs and equipment must comply
with State and Federal inspection and license requirements. All RVs must
be in proper working condition and have current State and DoD
registration and inspections applicable.
The storage lot is located on 1st street, north of building
514 in the fenced area.
Owners who desire to store their RV on the installation RV storage lot
must complete in application at the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR)
office located in Gabriel Auditorium, building 655, to register their RV
prior to storage. All RVs must be stored in the RV storage lot or be
stored or parked off the installation. There is no parking of RVs in the
housing areas except to allow for short term loading and unloading or to
make minor repairs. No RV will be allowed in the housing area longer
than 24 hours.
To access the storage lot, owners must check in at the MWR office in
building 655 (873-4200), the Outdoor Recreation Equipment Rentals in building 627
or the DA police desk (after hours), and an escort will accompany them
to unlock the gate and allow access. Access is available to RV owners 24
hours a day. MWR staff or the DA Police will make every effort to
provide an escort as quickly as possible upon request for access to the
storage lot.
A maximum of 3 storage spaces may be issued to 1 authorized owner.
Only preventive maintenance is allowed in the storage lot.
Owners of RVs are expected to understand that both natural and man made
hazards do exist and RVs are stored at the owner’s risk. RV owners and
operators are financially liable for any damage to government or private
property resulting from their activity. Automobile insurance is required
IAW state law. Contact Department of Motor Vehicles at 895-4424.
Owners/Operators who habitually abuse recreational vehicle storage lot
privileges may be denied further use of the RV storage lot.
